Condition:
Oil on original canvas which is slightly saggy and has a number of patched repair holes, notably top right corner and several across the bottom, see our photographs in order to note these, otherwise stretcher marks showing particularly across the top and right side, paint looks a little dry with a fine but stable craquelure running throughout, just starting to lift near the top right corner, apparently unsigned, possibly a small squiggling monogram lower right, housed in an ornate gilt gesso scroll frame which is now rather tatty, no labels or inscriptions verso.
