A Jumeau Bisque child doll, circa 1895, on a jointed composition body, with fixed blue eyes, closed mouth and pierced ears, wearing original clothes including silk dress, underclothes, corset and shoes, incised to the reverse B 4 L, 13in.

This doll was made by Jumeau for the Louvre Department Store in Paris

Condition:
The cork mounted wig loose from head, no cracks or chips to head, the eyes firmly fixed, one finger missing to right hand otherwise general cosmetic blemishes throughout other limbs, the dress slightly tired, commensurate with age and use.
