Condition:
Oil on original canvas which remains tight, paint perhaps slightly dirty with some fine lines of craquelure running mostly vertically down the left hand side and equally down the right, a little further scattered fine but stable craquelure throughout, would benefit from a clean, signed and dated lower left, under glass in the original gilt gesso scroll frame which is in good order, no labels or inscriptions verso.
