An antique carved oak cased tobacco rasp, the wall mounting case carved in relief with a crowned rose CR crest and initialled IBK and bearing the date 1668, 49 x 13cm depth 7cm

Overall of a good rich dark oak tone, slightly rubbed on the raised extremities, lid slides off upwards, small sections of carving from around the lower part of the lid missing, rasp looks original, small sliding out base section looks like a later replacement, minor worming and other chipping to the main case, thought to be a Victorian piece in the Carolean style
