An early 18th century burr walnut bureau, the fall enclosing a central cupboard door flanked by an arrangement of pigeonholes and drawers and over a well, over two short and two graduated long drawers on bracket feet, W.105cm D.61cm H.108cm

Condition:
Overall of a very dark brown walnut tone, the fall with some scuffing near the lock and a horizontal crack running through the veneer from the left side, interior in similar dark state of polish but with a litte rubbing, no key for the central door lock or the fall itself although the lock looks original, oak lined drawers again with original locks but no key, bracket feet look to be later replacements, some veneer coming away from front left foot.
