Condition:
Embossed brass plaque attached - Alex Beckers New York Patents, dates to 1859. Cabinet work with small but numerous damp-stains to all sides but moreso to top where stains are large and unsightly; one section of veneer missing alongside one of the viewing apertures; revolving action operative; can only guess at number of slides, perhaps fifty, double-sided, diseigned to be used by two people at once; all lenses good. Subjects include monastic buildings, a pony and ploughshare, bridges across rivers, grand interiors, castles including Balmoral, coastlines, boating, Railway Suspension Bridge at Niagra - miscellaneous.
