Condition:
Two-handled comport one handle lower joint cracked, not serious; pair oval serving dishes, one with minor wear to gilding; pair of square serving dishes, one clearly cracked around painted panel; other pair of serving dishes some wear to gilding; one sauce tureen with hairline cracks to base, to centre of interior and to cover; other sauce tureen cover finial damaged and in three sections, underside with hairline crack, approx. 4cm. Twelve plates - seven good; five with knife-cuts and some general wear. In general (apart from one sauce tureen cover handle damaged, the service very good considering age, circa 1840.
