Condition:
This view is taken from the village of Pentrevoelas at the head of the valley with Denbigh Moors in the distance. Oil on canvas cleaned and relined 10 - 20 years ago, canvas remains tight and paint in good clean condition, apparently unsigned but fully inscribed by the artist on the stretcher, housed in a later ornate gilt scroll frame, Sotheby's labels verso for a sale Lot 147 30th November 2000
