A 19th century gold, pear shaped sapphire, ruby and old cut diamond set flaming heart ring,
with closed back setting and carved shank, the interior engraved 'In Thee a Flame May 'engraved heart' The Same, size M, gross 6.5 grams, with accompanying Gem & Pearl Laboratory report dated 24/3/2020, stating the 2.46ct sapphire to be of Sri Lankan origin, with no heat treatment observed.

Condition:
Two of the diamonds each have a small chip to the table facet edge. Some wear to the facet edges of the small rubies. Overall condition is otherwise good, commensurate with age and some use. Total diamond weight approx. estimated as 0.60ct.
