A George III Chippendale style giltwood wall mirror
with shaped rectangular frame carved and pierced with foliage and brickwork, the crest with waterfall pagoda and bell motifs.

Condition:
Looks to have seen some restoration 20 to 30 years ago or so, gilding remains bright but is worn through to a white and reddish colour. Some areas of splitting and lifting of the gilt gesso notably on the outside of the upper right scroll and around the base. Old joint cracks appearing left and right of the top of the plate. Mirror plate looks old but not original, a large oxidisation spot lower right.
