Condition:
The stone has some occasional russet speckling, and there is some occasional white residue to the jade which will remove with a thumbnail. There is a tiny splinter chip to the beard of the mythical beast and to the edge of the figure’s robe. There is a pierced hole underneath his chin for suspending a cord, otherwise in good condition. Provenance: The jade was collected by the current owner's father who worked in the Far East, on his death it was left to the current owner's mother.
