Engraving reads Borough of Hove with crest presented to Alexander Henry Clark Esquire on the occasion of his admittance by the town council to the freedom of the borough 28th of September 1949. There are some minor scratches around the box in general and a couple of very small knocks otherwise in good condition. Hallmarks on side quite rubbed.
