Provenance - T. Gerrard & Co Ltd, Pentonville Road, preparators, technicians and modellers of London were involved, amongst other things, in biology, osteology and entomology. Possibly collected by Edward Gerrard (1810-1910) of E. Gerrard & sons based in Camden, North London (opened the second premises above on Pentonville Road) was a firm of taxidermists and makers of anatomical models, and a dealer in artefacts who sold Pacific Islands collections to the British Museum and other museums.
