A George III rosewood banded satinwood oval work table,
with rising top enclosing a fitted interior over two short drawers and a silks basket, on squared tapered legs with spade feet,

Condition:
Overall in honest condition and of a good rich mid to dark satinwood tone, perhaps slightly faded around the edges of the top with some fine old cracks running through the veneers, top does not sit quite flush with the base, no key for what looks to be the original lock, interior fittings look original as do the turned ivory handles to the drawers, silk basket is now tatty in fabric, under frame with minor scuffs commensurate with age and use.
