An early 20th century French gilt metal and porcelain eight day mantel clock, the arabic dial signed Aitchison, over a panel decorated with two cherubs, movement stamped Made in France, height 37cm

Some rubbing to the case which has a matted gilt finish, cracks running through the dial near 2 and 8 o'clock, main porcelain plaque has one small chip in the lower left corner, one small hole drilled through the base of the back of the case, movement in good going condition but not tested for timekeeping, swing of pendulum cannot be sustained, comes with pendulum but no key.
Case - leaf cresting has been professionally re-attached; viewer's right front foot, similarly professionally re-attached; dial indistinctly signed Aitchison, Ludgate Hill;
