Of good rich dark brown mahogany tone, small losses around the edge of the mirror frame, some wear to gilding on the ormolu, the main top has some dark patches and stains and is slightly lighter than the rest of the piece, drawer has original lock and key which opens to reveal a sliding leather lined writing compartment, underframe slightly wobbly with a few small losses to the veneers.
