Overall with a dull brownish patination which has been rubbed in places, stamped ADDRESS COL COLT LONDON to the top of the barrel, Colts Patent number 1811 to the cylinder and Colt Patent above the trigger, similarly numbered to the underside of the frame and the brass trigger guard, mounts to the butt are ivory and there are export implications for that.
Hammer cocks to two positions, cylinder has a little wobble to it, barrel rifling oxidised and some pitting.
