A pair of Chinese blue and white 'dragon' jars, Kangxi period, each of ovoid form, the mythical beast flying amid clouds chasing a flaming jewel, 12.5cm high

Provenance - UK private collection, gifted to the vendor's late mother by her aunt before 1970.


One of the jars is badly cracked on the shoulder two thirds of the way round with a small area of flaking to the glaze, the second vase has a small shallow chip to the unglazed neck otherwise in good condition.
