A pair of 19th century Chinese cream silk satin sleeve bands, embroidered in polychrome silks and gold coloured thread, depicting figures, flowers, trees and pagoda's, all bordered with green Chinese knot motifs, edged in gold coloured threads

The silk backing is discoloured and dirty, the black embroidered fine line edging to the sleeve band is missing in places, there are a few holes in the back silk and the colours are faded. The gold thread edging is torn and some embroidery in the pattern is missing
