The cover has a few dents and some quite noticable scratching to the top, minor scratching to the base, the individual compartments for sovereigns and half sovereigns are a little dented in places and one is a little sticky when pushed up and down. The silver hallmarks are visible on the inside and are clear and the maker's mark is worn.
