Lot 232 , A pair of Victorian cast iron campana-shaped urns, H.74cm, diameter 56cm
A pair of Victorian cast iron campana-shaped urns, H.74cm, diameter 56cm
Estimate £500-800
Both urns - the paint has flaked off completely and there is rust corrosion visible all over. One of the urns appears to have some filler around the square plinth, which maybe where they were once concreted on something or maybe a repair. The urns have been emptied out for ease of removal. There are also some fibreglass looking catch repairs to the inside where there may have once been splits.
