Oil on hardboard in honest untouched condition, very dirty but should clean to good effect, slight loss of paint around the left margin, chipping to the top right corner, housed in the original gilt and painted frame which is equally tatty, inscribed on the back with the name of the artist, frame has an inscription for a different painting Judith with the head of Holofernes and Exhibition label with the title 'Summer' along with two exhibition numbers 13 and 231, we presume 'Summer' is the correct title for this work.
