Overall rather dark and dirty with a dull deep brown to chocolate patination, with rubbing and surface scratching scattered throughout as well as signs of rubbing from polishing to the raised sections, marble plinth with chipping around all of the corners, inscribed with a presentation to The Treasurer of the Chamber Syndicale des Miroities, two drill holes either side of the inscription suggesting it was once covered up.
