A Victorian brass inset mahogany apothecary's casket, the rising lid opening to reveal fifteen glass vessels, the base drawer with five further glass vessels, scales, corkscrew, glass pestle and mortar and two jars, width 9in. depth 6.5in. height 8.25in.

Overall in honest untouched condition, mahogany of good rich colour with a few scattered light surface scuffs and scratches, brass plaque to the lid has a flush handle and is engraved Mr Edward Jones, some of the jars may be associated, two have breakages around the necks and one of the larger jars has fine cracking and chipping around the neck, scales a little oxidised, locking pin for the base drawer is in the box, overall good order.
