A 19th century Swiss tortoiseshell music box, of plain rectangular form, the lid inset with a glazed panel depicting figures beside classical ruins, movement with 2.25 inch cylinder, 3.5 x 2.25in., height 1.25in.

Panel to lid is loose, rubbed around the edges and has broken glass, looks like the glass might be removable without damaging the panel but this cannot be guaranteed, some fine hairline scuffing to the main body of the case, movement not going, appears to be overwound, the comb looks to be in good order.
