A Victorian gold (tests as 15ct) and garnet set oval pendant brooch, set with fifteen oval cut stones, 44mm, gross 11.4 grams.

A few of the claw settings for the outer stones are now missing. On the back, there is a vacant oval aperture in the centre, which has been crudely cut, may have been glazed?? There are also some knocks and dents around the rim of the aperture. Lead solder visible under the brooch fitting at one end.
