Dickens, Charles - The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club, frontis, engraved title and 41 plates (by H.K. Brown and Robert Seymour), half title, 19th century green half calf and marbled boards, gilt ruled and blind decorated panelled spine with red label (?1837)
Condition: Upper board present but detached, spine worn, wear on corners, lacks printed title, the 2 Buss plts replaced by Phiz, frontis and engraved title staining (mostly marginal), some plts marginally stained but other and text reasonably clean, Smith 3 - some flaws remain eg Picwkick (headline p.375) , p.341 - inbelicate, p.342 - Veller, etc, pagination agrees - save printed title as noted.
