Oil on original canvas, canvas showing a very slight undulation with a little flaking to the darkest of the green paint in the trees. This has lifted away in a few places, showing now as white spots but could be readily retouched. Otherwise paint is in need of a good clean but no further faults noted. Signed lower right, housed in the original glazed ornate gilt gesso frame, which has numerous hairline cracks but is intact but for small losses to the corners. Come for sale from a private collection.
