Both oils on wooden panels, scene with figure falling from horse in very good clean condition, some slight denting and a little rubbing towards the top left, possibly a hint of a signature lower left, the other work perhaps slightly overcleaned at some point with the paint looking a little thin towards the top left, some small dents and dirts marks, signed J. Fernley lower left, housed in ornate gilt gesso frames, no labels or inscriptions verso.
