Oil on canvas, cleaned and re-lined within the past 10 years or so. Canvas remains tight and paint clean. Signs of some old but now stable craquelure throughout and one or two small re-touches, notably one small pin hole just below and to the left of 12 o'clock and perhaps some slight re-touching along the margins of the frame to the right side. Signed and dated lower left, housed in a later ornate gilt scroll frame which has one or two small losses and bears a titled plaque. Restorer's label verso.
