Oil on original canvas which is very slightly sagging, paint has a slightly dry matt appearance, does not appear to have been varnished, looks rather dirty and suffers from a number of tiny white splash marks as if someone has used a roller brush to paint a ceiling nearby but should clean to good effect, housed in a plain moulded gilt frame, remnants of a Sothebys sale labels verso from where it was purchased by the private vendor.
