There are substantial losses to the enamel on the shell bowl on the interior, particularly along the raised areas between the flutes and where two feet have pushed in there is also numerous enamel losses to the underside of the bowl with cracking and fine cracks in places, please see photographs.
The ewer however is better news with a few small flake losses around the upper edge, there are some more serious losses to the top of the handle where it has been squashed in slightly and there is some discoloured restoration around the foot, there is a few stress cracks on the interior enamel of the ewer.
