A rare Rockingham porcelain figure of a seated cat, c.1826, on a rococo gilt base, red griffin mark, inscribed in puce 'CL1', unnumbered,

There is some slight wear to the gilding on the side of the base, there is a feint hairline crack to the base, behind the rear left leg of the cat, which can just be seen underneath as well and just further down from this there is a small splinter chip on the edge of the foot. Underneath there is a couple of short overglaze firing cracks, otherwise in good condition with no restoration
