A Japanese wireless cloisonne Ginbari enamel 'carp' vase, by Ogasawara Shuzo, Meiji Period, decorated with two koi carp swimming amid pond weed, stamped mark Shuzo, H. 15 cm, faults

The reverse side appears to have a patch of seaweed which is in fact a large star crack which has had pigment injected into the area to disguise the crack, otherwise some corrosion around the edge of the metal foot.
The dish top of the wood stand has been re-stuck.
