A Chinese embroidered silk picture of a cat, Republic period, the cat below a lily, seal mark, 55 x 77cm

Looks to be laid down onto a card backing and showing some creasing running horizontally through the middle and lower portion of the work, possibly a little faded but still retaining fair strength of colour, some discolouration damp or dirt marks showing throughout most notably towards the top left corner, pale silk border is now very faded, not framed.
