Gross weight is 7.3 grams. Width and visible height of sapphire are approximately 10.3mm and 4.8mm respectively.
There are a few tiny graze chips to the underside of the stone, otherwise no visible damage. Metal unmarked. Shank in good order. Age probably within the last 50 years. Star not clear unless light shining upon it. Star off centre. Visible silk and small dark inclusions. Not known if there has been any treatment or enhancement.
