It is not a corkscrew as it has a seal on the bottom and it is a solid piece. Not hallmarked, it could have been a corkscrew at some time. The other item is also not hallmarked and is in good condition.

It cannot be unscrewed.

It should have a corkscrew inside, and there is a join where it should pull apart, but it is stuck.
