Interior is in place. The bottom half of the hinges on the back have been screwed in tightly causing splits to the timber. There is also some loss to the ridge running around the lid by the right hinge if looking from back as well as a chip to the corner of the body of the knife box on the back right corner at the top. If looking at box from front the top left corner of the lid has had some restoration and the back right has loss to the decorative beading and there is also a split to the beading going down the back right hand edge corner. There is also a split visible to the back running horizontally about half way across. Also one or two more minor splits to the body and the decorative ridge.
