A yellow and gilt metal 'trowel' propelling pencil-cum-letter opener, with ivory handle, retailer's Percy Edwards & Co, London, with presentation inscription, closed 11.9cm.

Later engraved inscription "C.L. 1909-1959". Some minor surface scratches to the gold. Propelleing mechanism works and there is no visible damage to the ivory. The tip of the trowel is very slightly bent. 11.9cm closed. 13cm open.
