A Victorian carved giltwood wall mirror, with oval plate and ornate floral scroll frame, W.2ft 3in. H.3ft 1in.

The frame has seen some sort of lacquering applied over the gilding giving it a slightly matted tone, carving looks to be intact but there have been some cracks and breakages over the years with the left most outward scroll showing an obvious crack and repair otherwise some minor chipping and losses to the gilding, plate may well be original showing a fair amount of oxidisation with a pronounced horizontal scrape across the centre, overall an honest piece in need of some restoration.
