Two Japanese ivory netsuke, 19th century, the first carved as a child suckling its mother's breast, signed Chokusai, 4.8cm, the second carved as a piebald rat on banana leaves and rope, unsigned, (slight damage), length 5.7cm

Mother and child netsuke is a little grubby otherwise in good condition, with no restoration chips or cracks
Piebald rat netsuke has some losses to leaves, one of which underneath looks at though it has been re-carved where there has been a loss to the end.
