A late George II silver tankard by Samuel Wood, with open work thumbpiece, engraved crest and lid with engraved latin inscription, London, 1757, 18.2cm, 18 oz.

A few small dings/dents to the top of the domed lid by the latin inscription. Lid a little loose in situ. There are a few minor bumps/dings to th elower belly. Base of handle has been pushed sligtly inwards. Small ding to the side of the handle. Small piece of silver solder visible at the base of the thumbpiece?? Overall condition is otherwise good. Hallmarks on base and lid are clear.
