A 1960's canteen of silver onslow pattern cutlery for twelve by C.J. Vander Ltd, comprising one hundred and thirty four items including three pronged forks and pistol handled knives, London, 1960/1/2, weighable silver 140 oz.

24 dessert forks, 12 table forks, 10 coffee spoons, pair of sauce ladles and pair of butter knives.
The canteen is showing signs of some use. All the handles of the knives have quite heavy surface scratches and the bowls, tines and other handles have light surface scratches in general. A very few of the fork tines are showing slight signs of wear and one fish fork tine tip is bent but otherwise generally good. Spoon tips not unused but still generally good. Some minor wear to the decoration on the terminals on some but generally still quite defined. No pitting to the knife blades. No engravings. All hallmarks clear.
