A Japanese ivory and lacquered wood okimono of a bijin feeding a bird, early 20th century, gilt two character signature to her kimono, height 27cm

There is a fine age crack to the left side of the lady's head with a small plug repair in the centre, there is very slight flaking to the lacquer on her left shoulder, some slight grubbiness all over, her kimono is made in sections which are lacquered over, the lower part of her robe has moved around out of alignment very slightly by a few mm, otherwise in reasonable condition with no significant losses.
