A Regency mahogany bracket clock, Manders, Windsor, with chamfer top over brass lined quadrants, 6.5 inch painted Roman and Arabic dial, the two train fusee movement with shouldered plates, anchor escapement, 'London' pattern pendulum, pendulum lock and rack strike on a bell, height 36cm

The case is dirty, there are the usual shrinkage cracks to the veneers, the brass furniture is tarnished, the case has paint splashes, the dial is in fair condition with crazing, the side handles appear to be replacements as there are vacant holes and cut outs that would support this evidence, at the very top of the case the section on top of the chamfer may be a replacement, the numerals have been refreshed as has the signature, there is a small chip between V and VI, the hands are good and appear original, they would benefit from re-bluing, there is some very slight rust, the movement functions and is polished but would benefit from servicing, one retaining screw from the bracket is lacking, the gut lines have been replaced with wire, there is the usual wear to the pinions and wheels, the screws retaining the brackets are possible replacements, the movement has not been tested and is not guaranteed.
