An early 19th century gold and ivory mourning ring, of navette shape, the panel decorated with bird and a distant three masted ship and inscribed " The farther we fly, the faster we tye", size M.

The glass is cracked across the diameter from left tor right. The is a crack across the ivory panel which begins just below the T in "Tye" and travels across to the left lower side. The shank and setting appear original. Gross 6.2 grams.
