Two Mennecy Kakiemon style porcelain handled knives, c.1740-60, the first of octagonal section painted with a Chinese figure amid pavilions, 25.5cm, the second tapering cylindrical decorated with Persian style flowers, both with steel blades, 26cm, latter cracked

The octagonal handle has some wear to the glaze, a split cap to the fixing and a corroded balde. The tapering cylindrical handle has two large cracks and a heavily pitted blade.
