All panels with hairline cracks apart from the base. There are some poorly restored chips to the corners of the lid. The rear left corner of the box has losses to the rim beneath the hinged mount. Some of the gilt decoration is worn, especially to the corners and the underside. The hinged mount lacks much of its gilding.
