A late William IV/early Victorian silver three piece tea set, by William Hewitt, London, 1837/38/39, of inverted pear form with foliate decoration, gross 50.5 oz.

Several light surface scratches and the odd ding to the metal, marks are clear, no real damage or restoration, tallest piece is 15cm. Base of handle on teapot has been pushed into the body, clearly visible from the inside and the lid does not quite close flush with the body. The creal ver slightly wobbles on a flat surface.
