From the collection of a Hong Kong Tea Merchant who worked for Jardine Matheson & Co Ltd, before 1940.
There is wear to the gilding on the handle and around the rim of the inner liner, there is some wear to the enamel on the handles, there is a firing crack to the edge of the inner liner on one side and a firing crack to the inner rim of the base of the vessel which is visible on the biscuit and then overglazed on the interior of the vessel but not visible on the exterior, otherwise good condition.
